Family Services Windsor-Essex (FSWE) is a non-profit, charitable organization serving Windsor and Essex County.

They help individuals, couples and families manage life, marriage and family challenges, deal with arising issues and resolve conflicts to live independently in the community. Food banks

Food Bank Canada

Food Banks Canada provides national leadership to relieve hunger today and prevent hunger tomorrow in collaboration with the food bank network in Canada.

Food Banks Canada is a national charitable organization dedicated to helping Canadians living with food insecurity. They support a network of provincial associations, affiliate food banks, and food agencies that work at the community level to relieve hunger. Their work is focused on maximizing collective impact, strengthening local capacity, and reducing the need for food banks.

Windsor Essex Food Bank Association

The Windsor Essex Food Bank Association (WEFBA) is a community-based, not-for-profit organization comprised of 15 local food banks. Together they are a cohesive group, who has collectively enhanced their ability to reach thousands of individuals and families in Windsor and Essex County who need emergency food supplies.

They are a proud member of the Ontario Association of Food Banks and an affiliate member of Food Banks Canada. They strive to provide the most nutritionally balanced food hampers possible, respecting dietary restrictions, cultural traditions and religious beliefs depending on availability or our supplies.

Sexual Assault Crisis Center

SACC offers free, private and confidential services.

They provide counselling, crisis intervention, and support for victims of sexual violence.  

If you are a child, adolescent or an adult and have been sexually violated whether recently or in the past, we can HELP.

The Counsellors at SACC are all registered Social Workers who are trained especially to help victims of sexual violence.

What is Sexual Violence?

Sexual Violence is any form of sexual activity or sexual touching that was not consented to, unwanted, forced, or where tricks and/or bribes were used. Sexual Violence is a crime of violence committed against the will of the victim.
